Membership of the Botswana Surgical Society is open to qualified surgeons, with surgeons in training welcome to join as Affiliate members.

Membership is currently open to surgeons registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC) and practising or training in Botswana.
Membership is an annual subscription of P1,000, payable at the beginning of the year. Your membership is renewed for the year once your subscription is paid.

Membership is a flat annual subscription of P1,000 for all members, payable at the beginning of the year.
At the beginning of each year, members are sent a reminder to pay the subscription fee. Once paid, your membership is renewed for the year. Members who do not pay are removed from the Society.
After your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive payment instructions for the P1,000 annual subscription.
You will need proof of qualification, your professional registration certificate and a current CV. Additional supporting documents may be requested.
Applications are submitted online and reviewed by the membership committee. You will be contacted once a decision has been made, and payment instructions follow approval.
